Transforming food system governance is essential for achieving better social, environmental, and economic outcomes. In this webinar, Dr. Dori Patay will introduce the conceptual foundations of whole-of-government and whole-of-food system institutions for food system governance. She will then present findings from her team’s global policy analysis of 197 countries, which mapped existing multisectoral food system governance institutions worldwide. Dr. Patay will discuss the 34 national-level institutions identified and introduce a governance typology designed to guide policymakers and researchers in developing multisectoral food system governance approaches.
