Sinead Boylan: Nutrition Systems Scientist
Dr Sinead Boylan is a Nutrition Systems Scientist with CSIRO Agriculture and Food and is based in Sydney, Australia.
Sinead’s passion for interdisciplinary research lies at the intersection of food systems, health and the environment. Her research aims to identify strategies to promote a healthy and sustainable diet. She strives for equitable, healthy food access for all. She has studied the dietary patterns of populations across Western and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and East Africa.
Sinead is a member of the Research Advisory Group for Food System Horizons.
Sinead has a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Ulster and a PhD in nutritional epidemiology from the University of Leeds.
Sinead enjoys travelling to remote places, photography, and daily ocean-swimming.
