Pradeepa Korale-Gedara: Postdoctoral Fellow
Pradeepa Korale-Gedara is a Postdoctoral Fellow with Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation at the University of Queensland and is based in Brisbane, Australia. She is researching ways to build a more sustainable food systems in Australia.
Pradeepa has a PhD from Griffith University, Australia where she focused the connection between agricultural market integration and food security. She has also worked on various research projects aimed at improving food security, agricultural markets and food systems, identifying food policies and food assistance programs, and exploring farmers’ adaptation strategies to climate change.
Pradeepa enjoys reading investigative books and meeting new people and learning about their experiences and perspectives.
