Governance options for a healthier and more sustainable future food system
A State of the Food System Webinar
FRIDAY, 1 August 2025
12:00NN to 1:00PM AEST
ONLINE MS Teams
The recently released ‘Towards a state of the food system report for Australia‘ highlighted the need to better manage our food system. But what does that look like? This forum is an opportunity to discuss whether Australia needs to take a different approach to food system governance, and what that approach might look like. We’ll reflect on what drives this need: the increasingly diverse goals we have for our food system, especially public-good sustainability and health goals alongside economic goals, and compare this with similar systems across Australia.
Join the discussion and hear from report authors Dr Rohan Nelson, Dr Cathy Robinson and Dr Andy Hall.
