How we eat: Australia’s food retail environment and the future of the food system
A State of the Food System Webinar
FRIDAY, 10 October 2025
12:00 to 1:00PM AEST; 1:00 to 2:00PM ADST
ONLINE MS Teams
How we eat is strongly shaped by Australia’s retail food environments – with consequences for sustainability and resilience in our food system, and for the health of the Australian community. Seeking better outcomes in these areas offers benefits for our food security, for the ongoing profitability of our agricultural industries and the cost of our health systems, and for global emissions. Establishing and pursuing priorities to guide how food is distributed and accessed in Australia is a vital part of building the food system that will support and strengthen Australia into the future.
Join us to hear from Roz White, Dheepa Jeyapalan, Dr David Reynolds and Dr Lilly Lim-Camacho, who will share their perspectives on the user interface of the Australian food system and its future.
